Yesterday I got out of bed at around 8:00, and thought, wow, it seems so dark still. I figured it must be overcast, so I peeked at the window to find this:
SNOW! Sure, it's not much, but we live in St George. I didn't think it would snow at all down here. Of course I woke Clark up by jumping up and down and shouting, "It's a Christmas miracle! It's a Christmas miracle!" Who knew that a 1/2" of snow could make me so happy?

I thought it was a festivus miracle.
If an aluminum pole had shown up on our doorstep THEN it would have been a Festivus Miracle.
Festivus miracles (in the form of aluminum poles) are everywhere, for those who have eyes to see.
St. George had quite a bit of snow in Dec. 1996. (Wow, 10 years ago!) Enough to facilitate plenty of missionary/automobile mischief.
Speaking of missionaries, you can see their apartment in the photo. It's the one on the far right, with the picture of Christ in the window. And their car is gone. . .
So, that little smattering of snow in St. George is more than we've had in the whole month of December... and this is upstate New York! It's raining today, again. Talk about a raw deal. One of the primary reasons to live in Binghamton (and there aren't very many) is you've got a 99.9% of having a white Christmas. Last year was mild and Michelle's school district had used 4 of its 5 snow days by Christmas break.
