Memory Time

I thought this was kind of a fun "tag." And while it would be awesome if you played along, I won't be heartbroken if you don't. I'll just feel like no one remembers me. (take a joke!)

Here are the directions:

1. Add a comment on my blog and leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot just do anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Oh fun times. I can not help but think of all our early morning walks. We had some really good conversations and it was so nice to finally find a friend after moving in and having a baby!

It has to be playing "No Bears Are Out Tonight" @ Grandma & Grandpa's house! I saw the younger grandkids playing it a few years ago and had to chuckle to myself. ;)

Asking you to be my college roommate in 2nd period Calculus. You looked at me rather terrified and, I know, we didn't really talk much up until then even though we had a gazillion classes together. Silly high school and different groups of friends. But let me tell you how GLAD I am that I was lucky enough to end up in your group of friends by the end of the year. (I resisted mentioning the vomit memory... or the blow-up blue chair.)

I have a memory of you, maybe fourteen months old, putting your little arms around my neck, patting my back, and cooing, "You're so cute." And I knew exactly where you picked it up, because you were a very cute baby!

The first memory that came to mind was one you won't remember - but may be worth mentioning. When you were maybe a year old, Roger and I traveled to Provo with a group of EFY kids from our stake, dropped them off and then spent the week at your folks' house, helping put up new wallpaper in the kitchen. I remember you as a cute and cuddly baby, who was happy to climb up onto my lap and snuggle. But the thing I remember most is thinking how much you looked like my mom, your gramma Bo. She would be very proud of you today, and would adore little Julia.

BG Hill! Seriously though, that was my favorite summer ever.
