Last night at 11 we opened the windows so we could cool down the house. I sweated all night long, as did Julia I assume, thus very little sleeping took place. This morning our thermostat said it was 80° inside. Time to close the windows and turn on the AC: 7:30am.
And that is why I hate summer.

You would hate Tucson. We've been opening the windows for a month now. When the thermostat is at 80 it's a good day. It was about 82 when we woke up. We keep our thermostat at around 80 - 83 depending on our heat tolerance levels because we don't want to pay too high of an electric bill. We're to the point where 80 is usually about comfortable. But, I hear ya. It's May and I know we haven't even hit the brunt of it yet. We still have at least 4 more months of this to go :)
yuck... at least you don't have to deal with humidity. You'd hate that here! I miss the dry heat so much!!!
