First off, how cool is this kid?
Julia has now learned to say, "No." She says it all the time. Except she really doesn't mean, "No," usually it means, "I want that." She also does this funny thing where it almost looks like she's saying, "Yeah, yeah, yeah," but no sound is coming out, her jaw is just going. Let's look at the videos, shall we?
(I think in the first video she is wanting to be fed, as evidenced by her walking over to the highchair. And yet, I didn't feed her. Mother of the Year Award, right here.)

For cute. I love the little "no" and the head nodding. Z says "tah" for yes and it took us forever to figure that out.
Very funny. What was on her shirt? Looked like Madam Mim with pig tails, but I couldn't tell for sure.
Why, that's Little Miss Sunshine!
oh sooo cute...I think that is really funny. (Maybe because hearing another kid say "no" is sooo much cuter than your own kid.) I am so impressed with her walking skills too!!
Hahaha! Patrick once heard a theory that kids pick up the word "no" early on because adults tend to use that word more emphatically than most others in our language (which I guess is true when you think about it - you tend to put more emphasis on the word no than on the rest of the sentence). Therefore, if a kid wants to get something, they are going to use what they hear as the strongest word so they will get it! Maybe that's why Julia says no when she wants something...? In any event, she is dang cute! Keep the videos coming! ;-)
I love it. Especially since it's obvious that she doesn't mean no. And it's so clear. And her Yeah, yeah, yeah... that's too funny. I can't wait for her and Craig to play again tomorrow! Good luck with your concert
The video wouldn't load for me =(.
I am so glad you are posting more pics and videos, though. Thanks. =)
