All About Clark

I love naptime. It gives me time to post stuff like this.

1. He's sitting in front of the tv. What's on the screen?
We don't currently have TV channels, but if we did, you better believe he'd be watching ESPN.

2. You are out to eat. What dressing does he get on his salad?
Um, I dunno. Probably depends on what the options are. I think he often gets the "House Dressing," just to try something new.

3. What's one food he doesn't like?
I'd say peas and kiwi, but it's not that he doesn't like those, it's just that his body rejects them. Ooo, ooo, fish!

4. You go out to a bar. What does he drink first?
We are at a bar?!! How on earth did we get there? Maybe he'd drink water?

5. Where did he go to high school?
Hillcrest High.

6. If he were to collect anything, what would it be?
I'm going to go with nerd books.

7. What shoe size does he wear?
12, but sometimes 11 1/2, depending on the shoe.

8. What is his favorite type of sandwich?
Hmmmm. . . Peanut butter and marshmallows, toasted. Excuse me, I've been reminded that it has an official name: Peanut Butter Marshelades!

9. What would he eat every day if he could?
Chocolate milk.

10. What would he never wear?
Jeans that come pre-thrashed. Also, a suit coat.

11. What is his favorite sports team?
The BYU Cougars!

12. What is something you do that he wishes you didn't do so much?
Fall asleep during movies. And cry.

13. How many states has he lived in?
Just Utah. Unless you count Rio Grande do Sul, which is a Brazilian state. And also Sao Paulo.

14. What is his heritage?
Well, the Blockburger name is likely German, though we're not 100% sure. (As a side note, I have had someone tell me that it's just so sad that he doesn't speak the language of his native land [meaning German]. To which I should have responded [but didn't because I don't like confrontation]: the native land that his family hasn't lived in for almost 200 years?) He's also got some Danish, and a bunch of British stuff.

15. You bake him a cake for his birthday. What kind of cake would it be?
I'd let him select from the fabulous Cake Mix Doctor.

16. Did he play sports in high school?
Well, not for the high school. I imagine there was some church basketball going on.

17. What could he spend hours doing?
Watching college football. I know this because he does spend hours doing it every Saturday from August through November. Or at least he did when we had TV. (He reminds me that he has not seen any bowl games this year, and that the last football game he watched was the BYU/Utah game. Boo hoo.)

Greg says that the peanut butter marshmallow sandwich is called fluff-a-nutter. That's what they call it in Boston.

Sad to say that we have been watching way too much college football. And the activity of choice on our anniversary...watching the BYU bowl game.

It's time we need to get together.
