So you should come. Uh, also, someone talked me in to trying out for a solo last night, and then I actually got it. I was somewhat shocked. Don't get me wrong, I'm terribly excited about it, I just didn't think I'd get it. It's the Pie Jesu from Faure's Requiem. Beautiful stuff.
I get pretty nervous. So if anyone wants to let me practice singing in front of them between now and next Saturday, I'd greatly appreciate the chance to get some of my nerves out. But even more reason you should come! To hear the solo! And help me feel less nervous because I've got friends out in the audience!

I think you should sing it for us at Keynotes on Wednesday. It's a plan!!!
I'd love to hear you sing. You have such a fabulous voice. We could meet at the park to let the kids play and you could sing it for me there! (because that wouldn't be awkward!) Just kidding. But if you want to practice on me I would welcome the opportunity.
